PleaseAn architectural tour of northern Italian cities.
30/03/2016 2016 was a busy year with new ideas and coming in from around the globe. This month during an Italian trip I visited Milan, Verona and Venice where I was scoping out some inspiration from the local Architecture, namely that of Carlo Scarpa, Luigi Moretti, Archeo Associati and Grafton Architects of Dublin. Over the one week trip I was able to gain an insight into the unique personality of the area and the characters of these impressive architects by speaking to the inhabitants and curators and by documenting the intriguing forms of these buildings and how they dealt with their respective contexts. Please read more below.
